"System" section #

General system related utilities, including updating the logo in the header.

Overview #

"Clear Cached Data" button - When clicked, DataSpeeder will clear all cached data (apps, entity types, and so on) and proceed as though the application was freshly started.

"Backup Embedded Database" button - When clicked, DataSpeeder will creat a backup copy of the application's embedded database in a "backup" folder where the application in running from; for example in C:\dataspeeder-2.0\backup

The embedded database contains all of the DataSpeeder configuration information such as apps, entity types, field properties, and so on. Note: Such backups are created automatically over time for support and recovery purposes.

"Initialize APIs" button - When clicked, DataSpeeder will re-intialize all implementations that use third party API. NOTE: At the time of this writing (Oct 8, 2025), APIs are not yet publicly accessible.

Change Logo #

If your DataSpeeder license permits, you can change the logo image in the main application header.

To change the logo #

• on the System page, click Choose File

• in the file chooser pop up, select the image file

• on the System page, click Upload File

• the logo has now been update in the header of the DataSpeeder app

To return to the default DataSpeeder logo #

• click "Remove Image" to return to the default DataSpeeder "faster rabbit" logo
